Site, conversion, measurement

Should we replatform, or just rebuild the pages that matter?

A redesign is how a brand spends a year and ships a slower site. Move platforms when the current one cannot do the thing the business needs. Otherwise change the pages that make the money.

The lists for this job

These are the ones I'd pick first, which is why I partner with them. I may earn a referral fee.

DISCLOSURE

Listings and verdicts can't be bought. Sponsored slots and reviews are always labeled.

WHAT MATTERS

  • You can name the constraint the current site cannot solve.
  • The theme, the apps, and the checkout are a list, not a vibe.
  • Someone inside will own the site after the agency leaves.

Before you sign

  • A list of templates in scope, and a list of what is out.
  • You own the theme code and the accounts.
  • A warranty period after launch, in weeks.
  • Which apps are required, and which you will delete.

NONE OF THESE

If you cannot name the broken job, do not hire a rebuilder. Write the job down. The Diagnostic is for that.

Questions

Do I need Plus to redesign?

No. Plus is for checkout and operational limits. A redesign can happen on the plan you have.

Should the agency pick the apps?

They can recommend. You should know which ones you will still be paying for next year.

How do I know it is done?

The list of templates works, the tracking still fires, and your team can edit a page without the agency.
