What we do with your information.

This page explains what the DTC Operator Diagnostic and the free tools on this site collect, where it goes, and how to remove it. The short version: the inputs you enter and the report they produce are sent to Commerce Catalyst and saved in your browser. No public report, account, or case study is ever created.

What we collect

• The business details you type into the diagnostic: financial figures, customer and channel metrics, the operating questions, the optional company name, and any free-text notes you add about your decision and goals.
• The report those inputs generate, including the score, risk flags, and 90-day priority.
• For paid access, a Stripe checkout session identifier and the email Stripe associates with your payment.

How it is used

• To generate your report, which is assembled in your browser.
• To operate and improve the product.
• So Commerce Catalyst can follow up when the read points to a clear next step. We do not add you to a marketing list from this tool.

Where it goes

• To Commerce Catalyst. When you buy access, the Stripe checkout reference and the email tied to your payment are recorded in our private database and we receive a notification. When your report generates, your inputs and report summary are saved in the same private database, and a summary notification is emailed to us. None of this is public.
• To your browser. Your inputs, a baseline of your report, a private access token (and, for paid access, the email tied to your purchase), and a marker recording that the report was generated are saved in your browser's local storage so you can re-run the diagnostic and compare against your baseline. This stays on your device.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.

Service providers

We use a small set of processors to run the product: Stripe (payment), our database host, and an email provider for the notification described above. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it beyond the providers needed to deliver and follow up on the diagnostic.

Keeping and removing your data

• The "Clear data" button in the diagnostic removes your saved inputs and report baseline from this device. Clearing your browser's data for this site removes everything stored locally, including your access token.
• We keep the information you send us until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it to support you and improve the product.
• To have us delete the copy we hold, email chris@commercecatalyst.ai from the address tied to your purchase and we will remove it.
